PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of measuring easily a serum-derived hyaluronan bonding protein-hyaluronic acid conjugate (SHAP-HA conjugate) concentration in a specimen, and a kid used in the method.;SOLUTION: In this method, the SHAP-HA conjugate in the specimen is formed into an anti-ITI antibody-(SHAP-HA conjugate) complex, using an anti-inter-α-trypsin inhibitor (anti-ITI) antibody, and a content thereof is measured to be determined quantitatively. This measuring kit is a kit containing the anti-ITI antibody. In the method and the kit, the SHAP-HA conjugate is coupled to the protein having bonding ability with the hyaluronic acid immobilized onto a solid phase body, the anti-ITI antibody is made to react therewith to form a complex of the anti-ITI antibody-(the SHAP-HA conjugate)-(the protein having bonding ability with the hyaluronic acid)-the solid phase body, and a content thereof is measured to determine the SHAP-HA conjugate quantitatively. A concentration of the SHAP-HA conjugate is measured by using blood, a serum or a plasma as the specimen, so as to be used for diagnosing rheumatic arthritis, a hepar disease or the like.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
