PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hollow fiber type plasma component separator having a hollow fiber membrane constituting the plasma component separator and simultaneously satisfying a specific protein adsorption amount and a protein permeability under a predetermined protein loading condition and having superior fractionation performance stable with time.;SOLUTION: This hollow fiber type plasma component separator is obtained by storing a hollow fiber membrane bundle in a cylindrical vessel and treating the both ends by potting work, and the hollow fiber membrane stored in the cylindrical vessel is composed of polymer including at least a hydrophobic component and a hydrophilic component. This separator is so constituted that the protein adsorption amount of the hollow fiber membrane is 0.45 g/m2 or less, a permeability of the membrane to immunoglobulin is 60% or more, and its permeability to fibrinogen is less than 20%.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
