PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cap preventing foreign substances such as dust and refuses from intruding into a connector and surely fitting a support sleeve to a pipe.;SOLUTION: The cap for protecting a pipe inserting hole of the connector comprises an annular plate part covering the front face of the inserting hole, a dented part facing the inserting hole at the center, and an approximately cylindrical skirt part formed around the annular plate part and along the outer shape of the pipe inserting hole. The annular plate part and the dented part are connected with each other at an annular expanding part facing the opposite side to the inserting hole, and the annular expanding part has a dimension for storing a flange part formed at the apex of the support sleeve fitted into the pipe.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
