PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for applying a game device ID for reducing the work amount of staffs of a game parlor in applying an ID to each game device and reducing the equipment cost. PSOLUTION: An ID application start notice is transmitted to all of attaching processors connected to a ring type communication network by a central management device(S1 to S2), an ID application start notice is received by all of attaching processor to switch a bypass path to an individual transmit/receive path (S3 to S5), and data for deciding ID corresponding to the first game device is generated and transmitted by the central management device (S6 to S8). The ID determined by receiving the data for deciding the ID by the first attaching processor is stored, data for deciding ID corresponding to the game device connected to the next attaching processor is generated and transmitted, and the path is returned (S9 to S13).
