WOOD CONSUMPTION REDUCTION AND DURATION TIME SYSTEM OF THE VEGETABLE COAL PRODUCTION PROCESS. The object of this patent is an Effective Process Heat Redirection System, achieved by the use of specifically developed equipment and processes, in order to decrease the total time of the wood carbonization and coal cooling process by about 40%. and with a 33% decrease in average of the natural drying time of the cut wood, with highs with productivity gains. The System, object of this patent, optimizes the wood consumption in the carbonization process, by using the hot gases to pre-dry the wood to be carbonized and to accelerate the cooling of their loads, by heat radiation to the environment through radiators, with or without the use of cooling water in various ways, also directing the hot gases from the exothermic process results to the surplus generation of electric energy. In addition, the System object of this patent doubles the size of conventional carbonization furnaces and reduces to a quarter the number of its accessories such as gas and chimney combustion chambers. The system object of this patent also employs thermocouples and supervisory system of their signals, by specific software, for indication and actuation, automatic or manual, on various equipments and adds precious scientific knowledge about the wood carbonization process, which result in gains. process and product uniformity. The main innovations introduced by this patent are: 1 - Reduction of about 40% the total process time; 2 - Increase of the furnace volume utilization, about 7% and the thermal efficiency of the process, generating an increase of about 8% charcoal production in each operation cycle of each furnace; 3 - Use of the heat generated by the pyrolysis process, which is exothermic and by burning the tars, to pre-dry the wood to be carbonized and to generate electricity. 4 - Adds production scale gains. 5 - Decreases the thermal losses to the atmosphere. 6 - Allows, through a set of thermocouples, properly distributed by the ovens and whose signals are taken to the control panel and specific management software, the monitoring and total control, automatic or manual, of the process temperatures in all the furnace regions so that, even with the use of wood with diameters distributed over a wide range and with different moisture content, the coal generated remains within a restricted range of properties.
