In the present invention, there is described a process for preparing trion-bis(oxime ether) derivatives of the general formula I, wherein the substituents have the following meanings: Re1, Re3 each represents unsubstituted, partially or totally halogenated alkyl having 1 to 6 carbon atoms or cycloalkyl containing 3 to 6 carbon atoms; Re2, Re4 each represents unsubstituted alkyl containing 1 to 4 carbon atoms or a methyl substituted with alkenyl having 2 to 4 carbon atoms, alkynyl having 2 to 4 carbon atoms or phenyl; and X represents oxygen or N-OH; and the intermediate products, which can be obtained by this preparation process. The preparation process is characterized by the reaction of dione II with alcohol or diol in the presence of acid to yield a ketal of the general formula III, converting the ketal of the general formula III to bisoxime ether ketal of the general formula IV and a subsequent hydrolysis, where the other substituents are as defined in the description.
