The present invention is in the field of neurological disorders. It relates to the use of ribavirin (1-D-D-ribofuranosyl-1H- 1,2, 4-triazole-3-carboxamide) in combination with an interferon (IFN) for the manufacture of a medicament for treatment and/or prevention of a demyelinating disease.
