INTRODUCTION OF THE AGONIST-ANTAGONIST TO PATIENTS WITH OPIOID DEPENDENCE

A method of reducing psychological opioid dependence involves selecting a patient with addiction to the opioid and administering to the patient an opioid antagonist agonist for at least 14 days, thereby reducing the patient's opioid attraction. An opioid antagonist agonist is administered to a patient who needs an average adherence to the treatment protocol of at least 95%. A non-injection composition comprising an antagonist agonist is also disclosed.
