The application relates to a polyethylene composition having a base resin, the base resin comprising (A) a first polyethylene fraction, and (B) a second polyethylene fraction, wherein the melt flow rate MFRof the first fraction is higher than the melt flow rate MFRof the second fraction, the flow rate ratio FRRof the polyethylene composition, defined as the ratio of melt flow rate MFRto melt flow rate MFRis within the range of 15-28, the melt flow rate MFRof the polyethylene composition is within the range of 0.5-1.1 g/10 min. The present application also relates to a polyethylene composition having a base resin the base resin comprising (A) a first polyethylene fraction, and (B) a second polyethylene fraction, wherein the melt flow rate MFRof the first fraction is higher than the melt flow rate MFRof the second fraction, the polyethylene composition has a spiral flow length of 55 cm or less and a transverse middle shrinkage of 1.1 % or less. The application also relates to a process for the production of said compositions, an the injection moulded article, to a process for preparing such article and use of said compositions for injection moulding.
