A method for manufacturing a composite sabot applying a short fiber is provided to improve adhesion in a circumferential direction of the sabot by coating an interface of lamination layers with a short fiber such that the fiber resists against expansion pressure. A method for manufacturing a composite sabot applying a short fiber comprises the step of forming at least four sub-segments by overlapping a plurality of plies(30). At least three segments are formed by laminating the sub-segments. Three pieces are formed by laminating the segments. The sabot is formed by combining the three pieces. The step of forming the sub-segments includes a step of forming a preliminary lamination plate(40) by overlapping a plurality of plies. The preliminary lamination plate is cut into a predetermined shape to form the sub-segment. In the step of forming the preliminary lamination plate, a short fiber(50) is coated between the plies when the plies are laminated.
