SIZE AND EFFORT ESTIMATION IN TESTING APPLICATIONS

A method and system for estimating size of a testing project corresponding to one or more software applications is disclosed. The method includes identifying a set of test parameters for the testing project, counting number of each test parameter from the set of test parameters, and measuring the size of the testing project. The size of the testing project is measured in Test Units (TUs) based on the number of each test parameter. A TU is defined based on predetermined weights of the set of test parameters.
