The present invention is aimed at rerouting fax to a Mass Storage Device (MSD) or to a pre-configured number when the memory at the destination side is low.So during the fax transmission process if the destination MFP is not able to print the fax pages immediately and if fax rerouting has been enabled (turned-ON) in the destination MFP then the fax being sent can be stored either at the MSD or redirected to the pre-configured number by choosing the respective option from the menu. This invention also allows the user to turn ON/OFF these features.
