摘要

The present invention is an enzymatic method to lipidate peptides with the specific lipid modification using a bacterial enzyme and its substrate requirement. The peptide along with the lipid substrate is passed through the bioreactor developed with immobilized LGT and the enzymatic reaction was allowed to perform under conditions that were optimum for enzymatic conversion. This reaction attaches a diacylglyceryl moiety to the pepfide to impart hydrophobicity. The lipid modified peptide can be used in many biotechnological applications such as ELISA, Biosensor, enhanced vaccine development, Drug delivery etc.
