Abstract:The present invention relates to a conductive ceramic powder of fine titanium nitride particles and a process of preparing the same, used as an additive to the active mass of a zinc anode for an alkaline secondary electrochemical generator characterized in that said conductive ceramic of fine titanium nitride is subjected to an oxidizing pre-treatment at a temperature between 150°C and 800°C before being incorporated into the active mass of said electrode.
