The assembly has several rods (2-4), feet, and couplings for linking the rods, where the scaffold assembly is mergeable into a scaffold with a variety of vertical pillars. Markers (11, 12) are provided over the length of the rods, where a distance between the markers is not more than 75 centimeters. An independent claim is also included for a method for building a jetty using a scaffolding assembly.
