The vessel (1) has a reactor chamber (4) in which simultaneous anaerobic and aerobic fermentation occurs. A supply unit (5) carries an organic material e.g. household and garden waste, out of an inlet (6). An outlet (7) leads the material to the reactor chamber. An aerating unit (8) is fixed through the vessel. The reactor chamber serves as a storage for biogas, and is provided with a gas outlet (11). Bottom of the vessel is provided with another gas outlet (15), and is designed as a hinge bottom portion of the vessel.
