Method and apparatus is provided for generating the rate pattern for pre-stack depth migration (" PSDM "). Earthquake, gravity and magnetic coupling are inverted input data based on the earthquake observed, gravity generates and electromagnetic data (such as magnetotelluric and/or controllable source of electromagnetism), speed, density and resistivity models. A joint inversion is executed to produce first is that speed, density and resistance parameter distribution a function multi-parameters model. Isolated parameter distribution is extracted from multi-parameters model, and the rate pattern of extraction is for executing a PSDM. Migration velocity analysis is executed on exporting the PSDM to generate seismic image residual error. If seismic image remnants meet predetermined quality target, the rate pattern output of extraction is the end speed model for PSDM. Otherwise, the earthquake of update, gravity and magnetic coupling are inverted input data and are generated, and process repeats are in an iterative manner until seismic image remnants meet predetermined quality target.
