Provided is a method of treating, preventing, modifying or managing pain in a non-human patient, which comprises administering to a non-human patient in need of such treatment, prevention, modification or management a therapeutically or prophylactically effective amount of an immunomodulatory compound selected from: l-oxo-2-(2,6-dioxopiperidin-3-yl)-4-aminoisoindoline, and 1,3-dioxo-2-(2,6-dioxopiperidin-3-yl)-4-aminoisoindoline, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt, solvate, or stereoisomer thereof.
