Combinations comprising a selective COX-2 inhibitor and a microtubule interfering agent

Disclosed is a combination which comprises (a) a selective cyclooxygenase-2 inhibitor of the formula (I), wherein the substituents are as defined in the specification, and (b) a microtubule interfering agent, in which the active ingredients (a) and (b) are present in each case in free form or in the form of a pharmaceutically acceptable salt and optionally at least one pharmaceutically acceptable carrier; for simultaneous, separate or sequential use with the proviso that the microtubule interfering agent is not epothilone.
