A hydrophilic gel is based on the insertion of methylene bis-acrylamide (С2Н3-CO-NH-CH2-CO-NH-С2Н3) to the linear polymer. Methylene bis-acrylamide is used as a source of amide bonds, which are inserted into the major chain of the macromolecule. The three-dimensional structure of the hydrophilic gel is based on the hydrogen bonds.
