METHOD FOR ASSESSMENT OF LIFE QUALITY OF PATIENTS WITH CHEMICAL BURNS OF GULLET

A method for assessment of the life quality of patients with chemical burns of gullet wherein the questioning of patients is performed. The obtained during the questioning information is processed using computer according the special program. A questionnaire, intended for the patients of all age groups, is developed, which comprises a question about the features of feed, influence of diet on life quality, drug dependence, tolerance to the bougienage and its influence on life, need of help and each question is estimated by a five scoring scale. If the sum of marks is 100 and less, a result is unsatisfactory, 101-150 marks - relatively satisfactory, 151-200 marks - satisfactory, 201 marks and more good. The questioning is performed at discharge from the hospital, in 1 and 6 months after the treatment termination.
