METHOD OF EVALUATING QUALITY OF LIFE ASSESSMENT IN PATIENTS WITH DENTITION DEFECTS

FIELD: medicine.;SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to dentistry. It involves questioning of the patients including the clinical characterisation of the dentition and symptoms, the assessment of the dentition defect (DD) related physical interference (physical functions), the assessment of DD related psychoemotional interference, the assessment of DD related social interference, the assessment of orthopedic result in the patient's life. Each block includes 5 questions, each answer is estimated on the five-grade scale. The points are summed up. If score is 25 and less, the patient's quality of life is considered to be normal, 26 to 50 shows satisfactory quality of life, 51 to 80 - low quality of life, over 80 points - very low quality of life.;EFFECT: method allows to derive a precise quality of life assessment from the offered criteria in the patients with dentition defects.;12 dwg, 4 ex
