The invention relates to machine building, namely to the technology of bending pipes of the units of conduits first of all under conditions of piece production, and it can be used for manufacturing the tubular sanitary-engineering articles and tubular construction metal structures. In accordance with the invention, a method of shaped mechanical rollerless bending pipes by the radius of more than 1 m consists in that a steel plate (2) with thickness of, at least, 10 mm is installed horizontally and a curve (L) is marked on it. On the curve (L) the pipe (3) is bent, preliminarily tightly filled with filler. On the marked curve (L) lateral supports (1) are welded. To the first lateral support (1) the pipe (3) is pressed and it is fixed by a L-shaped catch-support (4). Further the part of pipe (3) is heated for the length equal to the distance between the adjacent lateral supports (1), and the pipe (3) is bent, resting it in the second lateral support (1), then the pipe (3) is fixed by the L-shaped catch-support (4). Similarly the pipe (3) is bent along the marked curve toward the last lateral support (1). Then, after cooling the pipe (3), the L-shaped catches-supports (4) are cut off, and the pipe (3) is removed from the steel plate (2). The invention ensures decrease of labor expense, cost of the process of bending of pipes, and also use under conditions of piece production.
