The invention relates to the use of aqueous extraction of brine shrimp cysts as an antiviral agent having antiadenoviral and antiherpetic activities. The agent is characterized with high efficiency, has benefits as compared with chemically synthesized medical drugs. The availability of domestic source of raw materials will provide its production in our country and possible international launch.
