HYDROGEL BANDAGE FOR TREATING BURN AND TROPHICAL WOUNDS

The invention relates to medicine, namely to medical agents for treating the lesions of epithelium of various etiologies, the burns grade II and III, the trophical wounds. The inventive subject represents the dehydrated hydrogel bandages consisting of gel-forming polymer bounded covalently to the carrier surface. The gel-forming composition contains the cross-linked copolymer of polyacrylamide-potassium coacrylate and/or polyacrylamide-sodium coacrylate, glycerol and/or polyethylene glycol, and water. Polyacrylamide-potassium coacrylate and/or polyacrylamide-sodium coacrylate is spatially structured and bounded covalently to the polymer mesh made of polyethylene, plypropylene, polyethylene terephthalate, or lavsan. The hydrogel bandage for treating burn and trophical wounds is characterized by the increased durability and the sufficient adhesion to epithelium providing for the administration the drugs according to the individual requirements. The invention allows for increasing the treatment efficacy and reducing the duration of the treatment.
