It consists of the use of mixtures at different concentrations of a low density gas, such as helium, together with air and a gas tracer, to simulate different types and extensions of fires, and a device capable of supplying and regulating said mixture. The equipment (1) has a mixing chamber (2) where the gases from the cylinders (4) arrive through their regulating valves (3). At the exit there is a distributor (8) where several gas distributors (10) and (11) are connected. The set has a computer equipment (14) regulates the valves of the equipment thanks to the information provided by the sensors (13) of density and concentration of the chamber, as well as other sensors that may be distributed throughout the space to be studied.
