The use of a glucocorticoid receptor antagonist for the manufacture of a medicament to improve in a patient the symptoms of a stress disorder, in which the stress disorder is a post-traumatic stress disorder in a patient with a normal cortisol level , acute stress disorder or brief psychotic disorder with marked stressful agent (s), and in which the patient does not need treatment with a glucocorticoid receptor antagonist.
