The present invention is a system combining motion capture technology and amotion platform with runtime interaction in a real-time feedback loop toprovide aphysical and virtual environment that has many applications, particularly intherehabilitation area. The operator and user have runtime control of the system,and thedata from the platform and the capture system are processed faster than real-time togenerates new data sets which are then re-introduced into the system. Avirtual realityenvironment is introduced and seamlessly interacts with the motion captureprocess andthe motion platform operations to immerse the user in the dynamic physical andvirtualenviron.
