The present invention relates to the use of amtolmetin guacyl for theproduction of an anti-inflammatory drug for intestinalinflammations. Furthermore, the uses of amtolmetin guacyl for the treatment ofthrombophlebitis, as anti-platelet agent and foranti-inflammatory and antalgic treatment, particularly in the case ofinfarcted subjects and of subjects suffering from an ictus of thrombotictype are disclosed.
