In a lock-step synchronism fault-tolerantcomputer system including a plurality of computingmodules having a processor and a memory in which eachcomputing module processes the same instruction stringin synchronization with each other. When detectingdisagreement in a state of access to an external busamong the respective processors in each computing module,if no fault is detected in the system including eachcomputing module, processing of resuming operation insynchronization is executed with respect to eachcomputing module after generating an interruption to allthe processors to execute delay adjustment for making astate of instruction execution among computing modulesbe coincident.
