Disclosed are antiperspirant compositions, particularly clear gelantiperspirant compositions, that are water-in-silicone oil emulsions. Theemulsion includes a water phase, typically comprising about 65% to about 95%by weight of the emulsion, and a silicone oil phase, typically comprisingabout 5% to about 35% by weight of the emulsion. The water phase includes anantiperspirant salt dissolved therein, typically in an amount of about 8% toabout 30% by weight of the emulsion, the antiperspirant salt comprising acalcium enhanced aluminum-zirconium chlorohydrate. The silicone oil phasecontains less than about 5% by weight of the emulsion of a non-volatile oiland includes about 2% to about 25% by weight of the emulsion of a volatilelinear silicone.
