Provided is a technique for measuring an unknown input signal and directly estimating sine wave parameters (frequency, amplitude, phase) contained in the input signal. A governing equation of an analysis signal is established. Furthermore, an arbitrary weight function is introduced to replace the equation by an integration form. By solving the integration form, it is possible to estimate the sine wave parameters. As a result, it is possible to obtain more accurate sine wave parameters as compared to the conventional estimation using approximation.
