A method and system for personal identification based on brain wave is disclosed, in which performing data encryption and personal identification based on inherent vital signs of human brain.The invention raises a brand new solution for encryption and personal identification in which identifying the identification or encryting some information based on extracting and analysing a candidate's or a candidate's certain brain wave;towards encryption,the invention is able to avoid storing the security key in an unsafe location or transporting the security key through an unsafe network;towards personal identification,the invention is no need for storing any characteristic features, so it is hard to be recorded, decrypted,rewrited and transported.The invention is very suitble for personal identification,and it can be used as next generation recognition technology to replace voice recognition,fingerprint recognition and iris recognition.
