The retrofit fuel injection system has a fuel or alcohol mixture, and has a sensor, which is provided for measuring the alcohol ratio in a fuel or alcohol mixture. The fuel injection system is coupled at controller side with an available motor control unit of a fuel internal combustion engine. The fuel injection system has an additional sensor provided for measuring an engine temperature.
