Organometallic complexes containing N-hetereocycle and alcohol bidentate chelating ligands, and their use for olefin oligomerisation

A catalytic composition which comprises a nickel complex containing a bidentate chelating ligand associating a heterocyclic nitrogen with an alcohol, and a hydrocarbylaluminium compound or aluminoxane. An Independent claim is also included for an oligomerization process using the catalyst composition.
