Disclosed is an antibacterial cleaner composition for a toilet seat, which is effective against both viruses and bacteria. Also disclosed is an antibacterial cleaning material comprising the antibacterial cleaner composition. Further disclosed is an antibacterial cleaning method using the antibacterial cleaner composition or the antibacterial cleaner material. The antibacterial cleaner composition for a toilet seat contains the following components (A) to (C) in the following amounts all relative to the total amount of the composition: (A) a lower alcohol in an amount of 35 to 75 mass%; (B) (b1) an organic acid and an alkali metal salt thereof and/or (b2) an inorganic acid and an alkali metal salt thereof in the total amount of 0.05 to 10 mass%; and (C) at least one nonionic surfactant selected from a monoglycerin fatty acid ester, a polyglycerin fatty acid ester, a sorbitan fatty acid ester, a polyoxyethylene sorbitan fatty acid ester and a sucrose fatty acid ester in an amount of 0.05 to 5 mass%. The antibacterial cleaner composition further contains water as an additional component (D). A stock solution of the composition has a pH value ranging from 8 to 12 at 25°C (as measured by the “pH measurement method” in accordance with JIS Z-8802:1984).
