A socket (10) for a socket wrench has a double structure consisting of an outer tube (11) and an inner tube (12). The socket (10) has, in side surfaces of bodies (11a, 12a) of the outer tube (11) and the inner tube (12), slits (13A, 13B) axially extending over the entire length. The outer tube (11) is provided, at the tip thereof, with a tip fitting portion (11c) having a shape corresponding to the shape of the head (16a) of a bolt for fixing a member (16) to be fastened, and the inner tube (12) is provided, at the tip thereof, with a tip fitting portion (12c) having a shape corresponding to the shape of the head (16b) of a bolt for fastening the member (16) to be fastened. The tip fitting portion (11c) and the head (16a) of the fixing bolt are then fitted to each other to fix the member (16) to be fastened, the tip fitting portion (12c) and the head (16b) of the fastening bolt are fitted to each other to fasten the member (16) to be fastened, and wiring (17) is led out of the inner tube (12) through the slits (13A, 13B).
