Disclosed are a method and device for managing authorization to issue a domain rights object (RO) between devices (entities) in a digital rights management (DRM) system, in which a RDP Drop domain protocol is newly defined between DA/DEA and RI in the DRM system, thereby terminating authorization to create and issue a domain RO of RI for a specific domain, thus to effectively manage the authorization in the DRM system.
