The invention relates to a system and a method for calibrating sensors of dynamic systems for measuring wheel loads or axle loads of road vehicles. The object of the invention here is to reduce the expenditure on the calibration of sensors of dynamic systems for measuring wheel loads or axle loads for road vehicles, and to improve the assignability of measurement signals which are acquired by calibration vehicles. In a system according to the invention for calibrating sensors of dynamic systems for measuring wheel loads or axle loads of road vehicles, at least one sensor is countersunk in a carriageway and at least one wheel of a road vehicle can travel over said sensor. The measurement signals of the sensor are fed to an electronic evaluation unit via a signal amplifier. In addition, there is an antenna whose received signals can be transmitted to the electronic evaluation unit, wherein this relates to an identification signal of a transmission module which is mounted on a calibration vehicle. The calibration vehicle is weighed in advance with its respective wheel loads or axle loads so that measurement signals which are acquired with the sensor can be assigned to the calibration vehicle.
