Method and device for generating energy from hydropower

The device has a gas filled body (1) that is energy-coupled with an outlet (2). The outlet supplies energy stored in a form of compressed gas during changing the volume of the body. The body is provided in a housing (5) retained with running water. The housing has a closed inlet opening and outlet opening, which are arranged in different levels of the body. A portion of outlet controls the supplied power by controlling the inlet and outlet openings.
