The method involves constructing a three-dimensional object (10) e.g. dental implant, from a raw material e.g. liquid material, and with a structure in layers (16-30), and utilizing another raw material or another structure in addition to the former raw material and the former structure in predefined layers for structuring the object. The points, at which the former raw material is brought for hardening, are specified in a dataset, where the dataset is based on a specification of the object by surfaces of volume of same structure and assignment of structure parameters to the surfaces. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a device for producing a three-dimensional object from different material and/or with different types of structures (2) a computer program for controlling a device for producing a three-dimensional object from different material and/or with different types of structures.
