An MCM-41 catalyst having a crystalline framework containing SiO₂ and a Group IV metal oxide, such as TiO₂ or ZrO₂ is provided. The catalyst is low in acidity and is suitable for use in processes involving aromatic saturation of hydrocarbon feedstocks.
