The drill has a shaft (2) including a shaft axis, and a head (1) including a rear side connected to the shaft and shaped conical at a front portion (3). A guiding tip (4) is provided at a front end, and a cylindrical chipping recess (6) penetrates the head and comprises an axis being inclined diagonally with respect to the shaft axis, where the chipping recess has an edge constituting a cutting edge and an opening toward the rear side of the head. The head has a diameter larger than a diameter of the shaft. The head includes a cylindrical wall portion (8) adjacent to the conical front portion.
