One air bag test device is arranged to improve the expansion performance of an air bag, by the bulbs of pressure for measuring the air bag before installing air bag. When air bag expands, branch hold mode (60) is disposed in the bulbs of pressure that air bag is received in an expansion direction of a curtain air bag (50). The expansion direction that one measuring device (such as first and second rod cell (71,72)) is parallel to air bag is installed in branch hold mode, is used to measure the pressure for being applied to branch hold mode.
