IspE gene involved in development of chloroplast and mitochondria in plants

An ISPE protein derived from tobacco Nicotiana benthamiana is provided to engage in a development of a mitochondria and a chloroplast by using a Virus-Induced Gene Silencing of the gene. An ISPE protein derived from tobacco Nicotiana benthamiana engages in a development of a mitochondria and a chloroplast and has an amino acid sequence of a sequence number 2 or a sequence homology with the amino acid sequence of a sequence number 2 over 70%. The gene codes the IspE protein. An IspE protein encoding gene has a base sequence of a sequence number 1. A recombinant vector includes the gene. Plant is transformed to the recombinant vector.
