A photosensitive agent for treating the pimple, a photosensitive agent for inhibiting the secretion of sebum, and a composition or a kit using the agent are provided to improve the pimple treating effect and the anti-sebum effect. A photosensitive agent for treating the pimple comprises an indole-3-alkylcarboxylic acid represented by the formula 1, or its pharmaceutically acceptable salt, wherein n is an integer of 0-3. Preferably the agent shows a photosensitivity to the light of 280-1,000 nm.
