A method for acquiring fine frequency synchronization of wireless broadband system without GPS receiver and an apparatus thereof are provided to remove influence of interface signals by using a PN code of a target base station. A PN despreading part(10) despreads adjacent subcarrier received sequences, and uses a PN sequence transmitted in a transmission side in despreading. A correlation ratio operation part(20) calculates ratio of correlation values acquired by the despreading. An offset estimating part(30) estimates a frequency offset from the ratio of calculated correlation values.
