A curved surface modeling method of a work piece is provided to reduce measurement time by accurately measuring a curved surface of a work piece through curved-surface modeling using metering data by contactless three dimensional shape instrumentation system. A noise area is automatically classified about metering data of a curved plate member obtained through a shape instrumentation system for a work piece. The noise area is removed(S401). Trimmed surface production is performed about metering data of the curved plate member in which the noise area is removed. The boundary curve is reverted(S403~S411). The base curved surface is generated about metering data of the curved plate member through surface fitting(S413). The measurement curved surface is completed.
