A method for manufacturing nano-colloids of layered cobalt oxide, nano-colloids of layered cobalt oxide manufactured thereby and a storage method thereof are provided to apply the colloids to a catalyst decentralization solution or to use the colloids for a precursor manufacturing a thin film. A method for manufacturing nano-colloids of layered cobalt oxide comprises the following steps of: ion-exchanging a part or the whole of an alkaline metal into a proton by processing a metal compound including cobalt of layer structure with an acid; manufacturing the layered cobalt exfoliated; separating a colloid solution by centrifuging the exfoliated layered cobalt oxide.
