METHOD OF SEARCHING CHINESE CHARACTERS USING STRUCTURE INFORMATION AND CHINESE CHARACTERS SEARCHING SYSTEM USING STRUCTURE INFORMATION

A method for searching Chinese characters by using structure information is provided to enable a user to input a Chinese character promptly and conveniently by using the structure information of Chinese characters even though the user does not know the sound or meaning of the Chinese character accurately. A Chinese character searching system receives the structure information at which at least character elements are combined, and at least one character element(S400). The Chinese character searching system uses the structure information and the character elements to search a Chinese character in a database which matches the Chinese character with the structure information(S410). The Chinese character searching system outputs the searched Chinese characters(S420).
